Lafayette Preparatory Academy (LPA) is a public charter school located in the Lafayette Square neighborhood in Midtown St. Louis.

Success by the numbers (2023-2024)

  • 65.5% of 3rd-8th grader students are proficient or advanced in ELA MAP!
  • 59.5% of 3rd-8th grader students are proficient or advanced in Math MAP!
    • Our Algebra students were 100% proficient or advanced in Math as of Spring 2024!
  • 54.3% of 5th-8th grade students are proficient or advanced in Science MAP!
  • 47% of K-2 students were on grade level or above in Fall of 2023. In Winter if 2023 that number went up to 63%! That is a jump of 16% and 66 more students who have excelled.
