“Every child we work with has a mind with more creative potential than the most powerful supercomputers on the planet. Our job is to spark curiosity and light up the imagination so that learning becomes a pleasure, delight leads to lives of investigation, and discovery brings benefits to us all.”

-Donald Stump, Ph.D., St. Louis University

Our mission is to educate, excite, and equip a diverse and inclusive population of elementary students to pursue a sustainable world through a hands-on program in bio-science and urban agriculture.

Such an ambitious task requires a bold, holistic approach.

We provide innovative hands-on educational programs and experiences that support and strengthen students’ science fundamentals while stimulating their imagination and broadening their views of what is possible.

We believe that encouraging and supporting youth to pursue bio-science and STEM careers cannot be left to institutions alone. To enter the science education pipeline and persist in it, students (especially the underrepresented) will need a robust, lasting support system. Our programs aim to inform, engage, and excite students’ families and peers to help create a community that understands and values science education and careers. We need to support the community that supports them.
